MEET THE EMU!

emus   Range/Habitat: Australia/ forests, scrub

   Diet: Omnivore: seeds, berries, insects

   Length/Weight: 5-6 ½ ft/ 66-130 lbs

   Conservation Status: common

  • Emus are the largest birds in Australia.
  • They are flightless.
  • Emus have 3 toed feet.
  • Emus have fur like feathers.
  • They can run up to 31 mph.
  • They live in flocks.

Emus are giant birds with big feet that are made for running! They are so funny looking too! We just love Emus! How about you?
